Agfa Vista 200 400

Anyone using this or know where it is made. The price seems good what is the quality.

From what I have read it seems to be Fuji Superia 200 and 400. But since I have never used it, I can't confirm it 100%. Kind of like Agfa Precisa CT 100 is provia 100f (without the refrigeration or quality control of pro film).

I'm sure that a little search from you wouldn't go amiss: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

It is "made in Japan". ISO 200 is Fuji C200 which I don't believe it is sold in the US. ISO 400 is an earlier generation of Superia 400. ISO 100 has been discontinued.
It is nice and it only costs one quid at Poundland.
Some people don't like it as it is a bit saturated. I like it, it suits me flowers.

While i am not 100% on which film it is. Im pretty sure its not superia. Afaik its much too grainy for that. Ive tried both the 100 and 200 iso versions here in the netherlands. And cant say i like the ones being sold here. I simply bought a few rolls once as they were dirt cheap at a local pharmacy. The ones i purchased said made in japan on the packaging as well.

I have however had some ok-ish results developing the film in B/W developer. Its definitely unsuitable for in the enlarger but works decent for scanning your film. Contrast is quite low and needs to be compensated for.

Thanks for the info, I was just looking at bargain films at B&H. Looks like there are still good C41 films at 2-3 dollar range. It seems that now C41 films are cheaper than B&W. I have several 100ft. rolls of B&W film left and 2 Lloyd loaders, so I have a good supply of B&W.
