Agfa super sillette stuck shutter speed

so I bougth an agfa super silette (1955, compur f3.5) today, with the only caveat by the seller being a stuck shutter cocking mechanism, but after buying it i discovered that the shutter speed dial was extremly stiff not being be rotated to the far end of either side(it can only rotate from 60 to 8 ) and even doing that creates an unpleasant mechanical whirring, and sometimes discharging the shutter - otherwise the focus is buttery smooth and even the delayed exposure mode works, the only ther issue i noticed is play in the whole housing. Is there some setting i overlooked to turn it freely or some special way to service way.

Some of the Lubricants agfa used do tend to get stiff. before risking bending something, you might want to have a overhaul done. in most of the shutters of that era, the dial just selects the mount of space available to the timing mechanism. (more space shower action)

the flash sync lever on those proably should be set to "X" which will disengage one timing mechanism inteneded to delay the Opening for a time after the Flash contacts close.

thank you thats what i feared well i already have to take it apart but now i have to look at the lens assembly aswell
