Anyone remember Agfa Portrait Proof? I have acquired a 500sheet box unopened amongst other paper from the 80s. Mostly Agfa stuff. Have not had a chance to go through it all yet.
When I got home last night I was able to make a better inventory of the paper. It is Projection Proof not Portrait proof. The box of 500 was unopened. When i opened it there was no instructions. Any information on Projection Proof would be helpful.
Take a sheet, cut it into test strips and try printing a favorite negative. I would be a graded paper, I think, with a "normal" contrast grade. What is important is not what the factory says, but rather how it works for you. Some people like to shoot x-Ray sheet film for pictorial subjects. The information the factory publishes on X-ray film won't tell you a thing about how it performs in a pictorial application, other than color sensitivity.
