Well here's something from the past. This camera is the first automatic exposure camera that was made. It doesn't use a battery, it uses a selenium cell. And it works. It actually works good! It's a 35mm format and made in Germany. What's not to love? Oh, it comes with a flash unit made especially for the camera and a manual. You could put this up on a shelf, or use it.

I'm asking $25 plus shipping

I got a pvt message from someone in Germany wishing to inform me that this camera is not the actual camera that was the first automatic camera. I meant to distinguish that it's this model that is the first automatic camera. This one is several years later and more refined. I don't think it has any significant historical value. Actually I think it would be a great prop for some school play with tourists from the 50's. I shot a few rolls of film through it and was very very impressed with how well the automatic exposure/metering system worked. But I don't think most people would buy this to shoot. Anyway, just wanted to clarify things.
