Agfa Karat lens question

I have an Agfa Karat with Solagon 50/2.8 in a Prontor-SVS shutter. My question: The outer lens element is removable w/o tools, it is serrated around the circumference. If I unscrew this, am I going to disturb the infinity focus?

No. If this is the Karat IV, it should be a unit focus design and removing and then replacing the front element shouldn't affect infinity focus.

Still, I would check infinity focus after completing the work.
