Hello
For sale from our folding camera collection is this unique collectors Agfa Isolette III (3) in immaculate condition: original box with matching serial number, original sales receipt, original instruction book & original warranty. Plus mint 30mm Agfa Isolette lens hood in original box & leather case, original green Agfa Isolette 30mm filter mint in box with leather holder, also Agfa Isolette III brown leather Ever Ready Case that has no marks or signs of use.
Our Isolette has been tested with film & was found to be working as if new: The super sharp Solinar f3.5 75mm lens (exactly the same lens as a Super Isolette) has no cleaning marks, haze, mould, fungus or separation. The rare last version Synchro Compur MXV shutter (same as a Super Isolette) is accurate at all speeds, blades are clean & aperture dial is smooth. Bellows are as new without defect, focus is smooth, the uncoupled rangefinder is bright & very accurate. The camera body is immaculate, only thing to point out is a slight loss of paint on the camera back hinges - that is all!
Must note that this Agfa Isolette has no leather, nor pleather coating like most cameras of the same era, the body coating is a unique & beautifully intricate Robusit moulding that did not harm any animals & is very tactile.
Last version Isolette III's do not have the same delicate & unserviceable frame advance mechanism of the larger, heavier Super Isolette - but it does have exactly the same Solinar lens & top-of-the-line Synchro Compur MXV shutter - it is the best available lens & shutter combined in the smallest package - in my opinion the best 6x6 folding camera of all time!
Sale to fund an on-going photographic project, asking: $475
Payment via Paypal, I am offering free USPS postage with tracking to mainland USA, insured postage would be charged at cost. International buyers would be charged USPS International postage at cost to your location. I do not add transaction fees, packaging or transit expenses to postage.
I occasionally list personally owned camera gear on the big auction website for over 12 years now (same user name, also same name for flickr) & proud to have 100% feedback. I treat any sale with utmost regard & meticulously pack parcels as if they are addressed to myself.
Camera is from an non-smoking & pet dander free household.
Thanks for looking.
Best
alex
