sounds like imagesetting film. Red light lazer diode for exposing. in an imagesetter it if very high contrast. great for halftones and graphic arts. can't say what would happen in a regular camera.

I'm hoping that since people are able to use various ortho films with altered development for continuous tone, this might be usable, for a certain look anyway.
