Hello fellow film users

i bought a box of ols darkroom odds and ends, which included a box of this developer....
Out of curiousity (as I've never heard of it) I did a Google search, nothing useful came up.
I did a search here on APUG which also came up with nothing.

Now my question is, what or why was this called "special"?
Was it a "special" formulation of another developer?
Was it meant for a "special" kind of paper?
Was it just a marketing thing?

I am thinking the last one, but I might be wrong.

Anybody that knows, please feel free to share

You'd need to look in 1960's Agfa literature. Every company made special developers for a variet of uses many of which disappeared many years ago.

Conclusion

It was a bit of a struggle to find any info online....but I've managed to source the leaflet that came along with the developer.
