Hi,

Long time ago I used to like Agfa CT 100 slide film. In those days (late 80's and early 90's) it was good allrounder.
The last time I used CT 100 was when Agfa introduced CT 100i.

Then I somehow switched to Fujichrome 100 (perhaps due the price) and later to Sensia 100 as allround film.

Now I have realized that CT100 is still available and it's cheap.
But how will it compare to Sensia 100, Provia 100 and Ektachrome 100G?

I'm using some current CT100 Precisa, purchased this year. The carton says "Made in Japan" (so no guesses needed as to the actual manufacturer" ), and it seems fine...neutral colors and contrast, just a good general purpose film when you don't need any extra speed.

Interesting.
So does it have anything to do with old Agfa slide films or is it just rebranded Sensia? (but sensia just discontinued).

It would have nothing to do with the old Agfa slide films, other than the branding. Fuji have made several ISO 100 slide films, so it could be Sensia or one of the others, or less likely even something quite different.

Old CT and CT Precisa is a great slide film, is especially good for cross processing. It is hard to find now.

New CT or CT Precisa is different thing. You might as well just buy Fuji slide film.

I did think it was rebranded Sensia, however having looking at the Tech sheet for both,RMS 10 Precisa vs RMS 8 Sensia 100,different Mtf curves etc. I am now wondering which Fuji film this could be?. Prehaps Fuji are producing Sensia(two) again for Agfa. As from memory i believe the latest version of Sensia(three),was released back in 2003/2004,with improved dyes and grain structure.

In the UK,Boots the chemist market a iso 200 own brand slide film, which was believed to be Sensia 200 repackaged,as the box had printed on, "Made in Japan". Maybe there is another film Fuji produce, which has never been released under the Fuji banner.

As you can see i was a great fan of Sensia. Just brought thirty rolls of the final emulsion run i believe, exipry dated 2012/04.
