Has anyone used this film? How does it compare to HP5+ and Delta 400? Apparently it has a thin polyester base allowing cassette loads (35mm) up to 45 frames. I have no intention of loading that many frames but I do have an opportunity to buy this film at £5 per 160' bulk roll.
AGFA IS AWESOME! check out my gallery, my self portrait was taken with this film. I actually favor the 400 over the 100 because you get more grain, but its a fine grain, and develop it 1+25 with rodinal its amazing.. its contrasty but you still get great midtones.. yes i think im obsessed.
That's what turned me off - it meant buying 25 tins or so, which equated to something like 600 (!) 36 frame rolls... And I would have to buy another fridge to store it in.
Well, I was just wondering why Silverprint minimum order is GBP 50.- for UK residents and double that amount for customers abroad. I mean I will pay by credit card, pay for shipping to my place etc. Rather puzzling.

It is addvertised as £5-00 per tin plus £1-00 post and package in magazines in the UK.
The web site stated a minimum order but nothing was mentioned about that when I phoned and orderd today, only that extra discount was available for orders of 10 tins. If I get charged more than £12-00 for my 2 tin order I will be disapointed, but as 30m of HP5+ would cost me £30 it will still be a bargain.
If interested act soon as was addvised that stocks are moving with many people calling in to take addvantage of the 10 tin discount. I wonder how many of these tins will find their way onto ebay once silverprints stocks are gone. Yeh ok I am a cynic I know.
I bought three tins today along with a 30m tin of FP4+, seven bottles of Rodinal special, two bottles of Ilford Rapid fix and two boxes of Ilford Postcard paper. I think that will have qualified for free shipping!
