Anyone here crazy enuff to have figured out the DIY dimensions to replace an Afga 6x9 Folder bellows (Record III)?

Option B is Juergen/Certo6 rough guess $125 for a CLA including bellows.

I'm not convinced I have the skill to pull it off, but I keep reading about people making their own. Making one and building a camera to fit may be a different animal.

Thanks

6x9 is 6x9, and I would expect that the bellows from any 6x9 camera should fit your Agfa folder.

I've replaced the bellows on several 6x6 Isolettes using bellows from other 6x6 cameras. I would buy another cheap folder (not an Agfa) and swap the bellows from that.

I have one from an Agfa Ventura 69. It appeared to have no leaks last I used it, but I somehow overtightened the shutter retaining ring. I cannot keep the shutter from turning. It's really seized up. I'm debating a Dremel tool on the retaining ring, cut it into 2 or 4 pieces to remove it (the shutter is useless now). It's not out of the question, just almost as much work as bellows.

Hmm, one bite at a time...

No cost to try, just alot of hacking.

Are you sure, Mike? I ask because I don't think that, for example, bellows can be swapped between my Ensign Selfix 820 and my 2x3 Graphics.
