I am just restarting to use my trusty Agfa Silette, but would like some Agfa filters to go with it rather than other brands / makes of filter.

It takes 35.5mm thread filters, which I would prefer, or 37mm push on filters.

I already have a yellow filter for it, but all l I can find are plenty of everything else except Agfa!!

Any suggestions as to where I can find any??

Thanks,

Heliopan offer most of their filter types also with a 35.5mm thread.

If you insist on Agfa filters you will need to search rummage boxes or Ebay etc.

I am not even sure I got any Agfa camera filter myself. Or, with other words, if you want your camera to look realistically german, you rather get yourself a filter from a dedicated west-german fllter manfacturer from that period.

With my preceeding post in mind, what is your intention to only look for an Agfa filter? To get a camera "complete" I myself rather would go for the original eveready case.

I would like to use Agfa filters on an Agfa camera. Other makes/brands will do, but if Agfa made their own filters, then why not use them on their own cameras? Nothing more than that really. Plus, I already have the eveready case. So if I can add to it in any way, it is worth a try.......

Every now and then a set of Agfa filters will pop up on eBay. Sometimes you just need to have a little patience and diligence.
Personally, I'm not so picky about filter brand matching the camera brand. If the filter fits and does the job, then I'm happy.

I have a yellow filter my Dad used for his Agfa Memo. I'm not sure of the size. I remember when I was probably 8 years old, he fitted that filter to my Kodak Instamatic 126, loaded with Verichrome. It's a keepsake for me, 50+ years later.
