Just curious as to your guesstimate as to the age of the person second from the left in this photo? My son dug this out of a stack of images in my collection.

Thanks,
Jon

I think he is 44.

45.

Early 30s. Photographed c.1915.*
Life went by quicker in generations past.

Ken

* A semi-educated guess after spending way too many evenings surfing the Shorpy website.

I haven't a clue about the ages, but the two young ladies standing in the back right could pass for my ex-wife and one of my daughters, respectivly.

Wow Rick, I wouldn't have guessed you were that old...

As for my guess, I'm thinking mid-thirties, maybe early 40's.

Late 20's or early 30's. I'll guess at 28.

Some days I feel that old, my ex looks that old:wink::laugh:

It was taken in Germany in 1922, so my son was wondering if the man in question might be Hitler, who was born in 1889.

20 to 45
But if he's the father of the three young boys, I would infer from this element he should be older than 20. Not a wrinkle though (nice photoshop work, or how was it called by that time  ).

Hmm... only missed it by 7 years... not so bad.

Here's a Dead Link Removed. The most obvious difference is that the hair is parted on the opposite side.

the guy is sporting an adolf hitler moustache

thats funny i posted the above before i read what your son said.

I am no good at judging peoples' ages; I'll go out on a limb and say he's an adult.

Of course in the 1920's it wasn't yet called a "Hitler" moustache, it was called a toothbrush or postage stamp and even Charlie Chaplin had one at that time.

Not to mention E. Weston.

I guess at youngest 30, and at oldest 40. Some help, huh? :D

He doesn't look anything like Adolf Hitler, though. That was not an uncommon mustache at the time...but Hitler ruined it. When I wore one for a few days, people freaked out BIG TIME.

Were they worried you would ask them to poop on you? :D:munch:
