I am open to suggestions as to what wide angle lens I should purchase for my sony a6000
I'm looking for an affordable wide angle lens 15-24mm!
A prime in the 15 to 24mm range is a pool of a few dozen AF lenses. What "affordable" means might narrow it down considerably, especially if "used" is in your vocabulary.
I'd suggest you check out Sony's SEL20F28 -- 20mm f2.8 -- used. Very small and light.
Sony's 16 mm pancake lens (SEL16F28) was one of the first E-mount lenses ever produced, and if the aforementioned 20 mm lens proves too costly, the 16 mm would be my second pick.
