Just got a speed Graphic and a Aero ektar 175 2,8 to finaly get in the Large format Analog Photography.
I will shoot film but for now i just test the camera with a polaroid 405 back and some 3x4 polaroid film.
I am lite lost comming from Digital Hasselblad & Phase one format so maybe you guys can help me with some questions.
1. I use focal Plane shutter, the only way to use the Aero and any barrel lens, and i see that I have only full stops. I general Lightmetering, and i shoot just beauty, portrait and fashion, i get my photos always to dark. I meter always skin and with spot mettering. Maybe its just becauce i use polaroid now.
2. Is there a way to test how acurate the focal Plane shutter is?
3. The Aero Ectar is a 2,5 that create a exeptional Bokeh but is so hard to shoot people as they need to be 100% still all the time. any tips or suggestions?
in general i love to hear any tips & suggestions or experience about this combo
