Hi, I am pretty new to this hassel camera. I just got a 501c from ebay, but found that once the auxiliary shutter was triggered open, it cannot return to close even if you release the shutter release button. Is this something that I can fix quickly, or I need to bring it to a repair shop with $$$ cost? advise is needed.

It probably is not difficult to fix, but has to be done by a repair shop, i.e. costs $$$.
If you can, return it, or make the seller pay for the repair.

Follow what QC said. If you tell us what city you are in, we may be able to tell you where a repairman is.

Besides here, you can get Hasselblad information at:

It is working correctly!

Now, you can breathe again.

A camera that keeps the rear shutter open when you take the finger off the release button is most certainly not working correctly.

Maybe you should read some of the things you link to?

QC, go back a look again. I reread to OP and changed it minutes before I saw your post #4.
