So, I've bitten the proverbial bullet and spent my pennies on a Plaubel 670; exactly why I did this will likely be the source of infinite speculation by Future Me, but for now, Present Me is pretty happy with my selection...even though I fully plan to use* this camera.

* - a word which here means "tuck into jacket pockets, pants pockets, the top compartment of a climbing pack, the main compartment of other packs, and any compartment at all in things that are vaguely pack-shaped but more commonly referred-to as "luggage."

Currently, the camera works; I would like to keep it that way...so I'm looking for some input from people that have used - see above definition - the wee beastie in question; specifically, I'd like some advice on keeping the camera happy, secure and accessible while being active in the outdoors. Right now, I'm thinking of figuring out some kind of low-profile accessory grip, or perhaps a light wrist strap that will assist me in maintaining a solid grip on the camera in marginal conditions. I'm also looking for thoughts on methods to store and protect it while I'm on the move; figuring out where to tuck it in my luggage is pretty simple, but finding a place for it in a small shoulder bag or a 35L summit pack is another matter entirely. Weight is a top-tier concern; there's no room for anything bulky or heavy...which calls to mind many questions about my decision-making paradigms, but whatevs.

So, tl;dr: any thoughts from 670 owners on the care and feeding of said object when out and about? Let me know; this one isn't going to be a shelf queen for much longer.
