Hello,

I have been offered a Hassleblad 503cx package which includes the following:

1 503cx - little bit beat up cosmetically, but seems fine mechanically

50mm Distagon - T* older black style - used heaps, cosmetically not great, glass fine
80mm (Planar?) CF - used well/little beaten - glass fine
150mm Sonnar CF - used a little - glass fine

Metz 45CT-4 with the TTL hoohah that works with the 503cx

5 backs - assorted wear, most seem fine (compared say with the external wear of my RZ package) - some a little beaten
Assorted bits and bobs - broken and beaten but fixable proshade, B+H/Blad polarisers etc... case
They gave me a first price of $2100

there is also a minty 553elx with 80mm CL and 15mm CL lens and pretty much the same assorted bits and bobs (all very nice) for $3550

Both I can get CLA (shutters, lens, body) beforehand free/included in the price

Any impressions of/on these prices ?

Assuming you're speaking of New Zealand $'s it seems like a good deal.
Roughly speaking, backs in misc. condition are worth around 100 US each. a 150 CF is 600 US +-, for example.
I would take a look at KEH's site and total it up.

It sounds like a fair deal even in US$. I.e. a deal I probably would go for. (... or, I paid more for my own gear. )
Unless you are going to use the camera more or less only in studio, go for the 503. The 553 is much heavier and thus less portable.
(BTW, nice links from luvcameras.)
