Today, I have finally succumbed to temptation and bought myself a Bronica ETRS camera. I have quite a lot of experience with come-as-a-piece cameras, both 120 and 35 mm - but this camera seems to come apart in quite a lot of alarming ways. I have a sneaky suspicion I might be asking for help in the coming week or two . . .

Nice! Good choice. I've never found an issue with how it all fits together (or comes apart), other than the mirror lock-up functions (which you may not have on the ETR-S). I have a bad habit of accidentally flipping the switch and going through two ro three shots before I get things right and can see through the view finder again...

Hehe, I know that feeling, having accumulated its big brother, an SQ-A piece by piece back in 2006! I now have about two and a half cameras worth of components so I can mix and match to diagnose dificulties -- and possibly field two complete cameras!

Have fun with it.

It's called modular. That's a good thing!

Enjoy your new camera or should I say your new baby! May your lenses multiply as you shoot film!
