I just saw this today when I logged in to write the update about the film cleaner: We have had issues sourcing sheet film base for the past 6 months. There are no plans not to coat sheet film again but supply chain issues and vanishing components sometimes through us back further than we think. Usually we manage to implement a security net after something like this happens but when its the first "blow" we need to stand back up and resort things. So, yes, we hope to manufacture sheet film soon again but, no at present we have no coated raw film to cut from.
Thank you for the update, although I wish it was good news. I have one box of 5x7 CHS 100 II left and I will use it wisely.
Best of luck, I hope Adox can provide us with sheet sizes of this fantastic film again some day.
Ditto re: "Thanks for the update... I wish it were good news". Let me add a suggestion that Adox might want to post news on its site or Instagram, Bluesky or wherever... 'cause the last news on the website is April 11th of some unknown year, and yet a lot seems to come and go unnoticed. Maybe Adox could even have a broadcast email list like many websites: "Follow us....." links. Whatever.
FWIW, I have shot quite a number of 120 Adox rolls and will attest that even the smallest detail in manufacture - the 120 reels and canisters - is handled 1st class. Yes, you pay more, but it's one-of-a-kind and top quality, bought for the difference and the quality control - not as a concession to our strained budgets. Hope you guys get things sorted out and run some 5X7 again as a format where "things just make sense" and the movements nicely divide into quadrants on the ground glass.

Any updates on sheet film production ?
Available again now. I ordered CHS II sheet film from Fotoimpex last week.
Yes, but only 4x5, which has been available periodically all along. The 5x7 and 8x10 have been AWOL for a long time.
There is no new batch being made, they announced lack of substrate supplier and looks like this is still the case. I'm actually after 9x12 and 6.5x9 which was on regular supply when coating was on going.
4x5 was unavailable for some time too. I've no idea what's up with the other formats unfortunately.
When they coated master rolls for cut film, they cut them to all sizes. Hopefully Adox will join in with an update.

We are still out of master material, because we could not source sheetfilm base for the past 6 months. However it has been shipped last week and we will do a testrun next week. Depending on the outcome we can make a production schedule.
