Hi to all,

I found a thread about Adox paper but I think you guys were talking more about development issues, I think. I am looking to get some 11x14 RC paper not more than 25 sheets. I usually print on Ilford but I found this one on freestylephoto at a good price. What do you guys think about this paper using standard development procedure. I believe I will be using Dektol developer.

Thoughs?

Thanks.

I REALLY like this paper for an RC. If you try fiber, the MC110 is great also. These two ended my Ilford paper buying days.

Interesting. There is a $20 difference I believe from Ilford from Adorama.

Someone else will know for sure, Freestyle may have the 310 under one of their house names at a better price.

I am very interested in this ADOX paper since if I understand it is based on the old Agfa which many people seemed to love.

In my opinion, this is simply the nicest RC paper ever made.

I still have some sheets left of the AGFA stuff, and I plan to restock with Adox when my supply is going to dry out.

It is one of the only RC paper that has a tonal range that rivalize with FB, IMHO

Also, in Dektol, it has tones that are a bit warmer than Ilford Multigrade paper.

Give it a try!

That is good to know. I am going to order this baby this weekend and will let you know when I will do some prints in a week or so.

Thanks for all the responses and keep them coming.

Another yes vote for the Adox RC. I find the tone slightly warmer than Ilford RC which I like most of the time. More important, the plastic glossy finish is more appealing to me than the Ilford MGIV glossy. It is my favorite RC paper. I cannot see any difference from the discontinued Agfa.

Well, I just started making some 11x14 prints last night and this paper is great. The blacks are just insane and all the values are beautiful. I highly recommend this paper.
