didn't hit much above 1.9 without toning, and its reputation for patent leather blacks is legend.
Despite owning and using a transmission densitometer for negative calibration, I've never found the need for a reflection densitometer. Prints on two different batches of MCC 110, developed in Neutol WA (Compard WA at Freestyle) have exhibited the deepest blacks I've ever obtained from any paper without selenium toning.
