This blogger seems to have been getting some nice results developing CHS in HRX but there is hardly anything on the internet for this combination. Probably something to do with HRX not being widely available from what I can see. Is anyone here using it?

I am not sure if Bruce is on this forum, but you can read more about him on the FADU (Film and Darkroom Users) forum.
And welcome to APUG or as I would prefer FPUG!

Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for the welcome! I'll check out the other forum. I've been using a lot of the Adox film and think its great. I'd love to know if it's better in HRX than in D76 and Rodinal. I suppose I might just have to get some HRX to find out. I see there's a link on the Online Dark Room site where I could buy it but I always prefer to let somebody else do the testing.

Hi, I'm the blogger you referred to in your initial post. I posted a review of HRX earlier today by a Turkish photographer Omar Ozenir - don't know if you saw it? He doesn't use CHS 100 (I agree it's a great film, btw) but it might be of some interest to you.

Thanks for your reply Bruce and sorry I never noticed it until now. I read Omar's article and he certainly seems to like HRX. I also read the Erwin Putts review where he was raving about it. I'll order some from you through your online shop and give it a go. I like the fact that it seems to have a long shelf life because I dont normally get through that many films.

Leo, if you want to advertise stuff for sale, it's considered good form to subscribe and use the Buy/Sell forum ... rather than try to catch free advertising by hijacking someone else's thread
