wake me up when you guys have 8x10 400 asa sheet film I can shoot at 400 asa. Something along the lines of classic pan (fortepan) but true 400. I can't afford $8/sheet tmax.

"The world's smallest photochemical factory".
Now that's moxy.

No they can´t.
The masterrolls were ready to be cut on wednesday. We managed to produce film until friday. We are getting better and faster in production but ships still need 6 weeks to cross the Atlantic and Panama Canal..... ;-(
I promised the film by August and it would not have been possible to hold the release until Freestyle has film.

Mirko

Understandable and no problem. Once they do I'll try some.

What?! We're used to iPads and whatnot always comin' out here first! What gives?! The whole world should wait to use this film till we get it!

/*sarcasm*/

In all seriousness this is great news it's coming ashore!

Any idea when ULF sizes will be added? Thanks.

Just ordered some from Fotoimpex. Soon the wait will be over.
Stocked up on MCC 110 and Silvermax as well. Thanks Adox!

Locky you wanting some more of that 7x17 inch film?

Arvo, Andy.

Always willing to try something new!

Thought that I could play around with this whilst I wait for this year's Ilford film to turn up.

I've just developed 5 sheets 8x10 in ABC pyro 1.1.1.7 and wow...
no problen in emulsion, very nice negatives indeed, now I have to study more
but the negatives are amazing... very good negatives, nice separations about shadows and highlights...
good support... I hope to go out to early to get some news photos with this film,
the first use of this film is incredible good...
Thanks Adox and Mirco for this very interesting and good film....

Here I attached 5 jpeg from the negatives I developed yesterday. I use the next film at 50 iso, and I developed the 5 sheets in pyro abc 1.1.1.7, for 4-7-10-13-16 minutes, in tray.
The film I think have a good response to pyro, the highlight are clean with details and not blocked, the shadow zone are deep but with details, the middle zone are nice and smooth.
No scratches on emulsion appear.
Sorry for the bad quality of jpg, but my scanner dosen't work, and I use my iphone....
The negatives are better that you see in the jpg, and for my use with lodima, the negative at 10 minutes is very nice.

Hello Stefano,
Thank you for sharing! And I would love to see a real print from these negatives.
BTW: What's the story on "Lodima" paper? The only one you use?

Hello Mirko,
Do you have any information for us about the reciprocity failure of this film? I couldn't find it in the data sheet or the website.
Thank you.

Hi,
I'll print these negatives maybe the next week, now I'm a bit busy to prepare an exhibition.
I print all my works on Lodima paper, a silver-chloride paper to contact print, I usually use only this paper.
To know the story of this paper give a look to Micheal A.Smith & Paula Chamlee photographer.

Talking about exhibitions: this is more near you, I guess?

Wish I could go myself, but an 15 hours drive from Holland to the other side of the Alps is too much for me.
