B&H sells Efke films, which are also sold under the Adox label (though there are also some films sold as Adox, which are not made by Efke). Otherwise, I order them from Freestyle.
Thanks for your reply. I see the Efke products, but I don't see the exact equivalent to the CMS 20, or the ORTHO 25 . I assume that the CHS series is replicated in the Efke products. Would you know of a source for the products in NYC? I am familiar with Freestyle, but am looking for a retailer.
I don't know if anyone else carries them locally. Efke is the original manufacturer. Adox is a brand name owned by Fotoimpex (and I believe there is a Canadian distributor with rights to the Adox brand, but that's another story). The original German Adox formulas from the 1960s were later produced by Efke in Croatia, and the current formulas are probably variations on those formulas.
As you seem to have noticed not all Adox branded films are made by Efke.
The Adox CMS 20 you asked about is made by Agfa, though not offered by them as type 135, and you would need the dedicated chemistry anyway.

Freestyle has the U.S. distribution sewn up. Even B&H orders their film from Freestyle. So cut out the middle man and shop Freestyle for yourself. When I used to work in the city, I always had to plan my shopping around the constantly changing hours of B&H/Adorama.
No such problems with Freestyle, plus fixed rate shipping.
