Adjustments to the For Sale Forum

Hello, I have given everyone access to edit and delete their posts in the For Sale forum. To edit just click the 'edit' button in your post. To delete click the 'edit' button and when in edit mode you'll see the option to delete. If anyone has problems just let me know. Thanks

hey sean -

does the delete / edit function die after a while like with regular posts?
i know i wanted to get rid of some of the for sale posts i have had where the items no longer exist ( or at least are in my hands )

I think it will only work on new posts... I tried to delete my old ones and it didnt show up...

I'm still new with using custom permissions for specific forum. As far as I know it should be working but maybe not. If someone can not edit one of their posts a day later in the for sale forum then I need to go back to the drawing board..

Didn't work for me either. I remember that in an earlier version of APUG we could go back and delete our own threads in the "For Sale" forum when the items were sold. This would be a good option to have, just to get rid of the clutter.
