hello,

I have about a dozen Speed Graphics in various format (4x5, 3¼x4¼. 2¼x3¼). The problem I am having is with the shutter curtains on the focal plane shutter. This seems to be a common problem withe the Speeds. Over time, the shutter gets lazy. As an example, when I use the T setting, the curtain will often not come down completely when I trigger the T setting to close the curtain. The curtain comes down half way, indicating that the the spring in the shutter has lost some of its tension and will not close the curtain completely. Also, the shutter speeds are off.

Is there a way to "retension" the spring to remedy the situation and have the shutter back to running like clockwork?
