Adding flash sync to a Compur Rapid Shutter?

I'm interested mainly in doing this to the type of Compur Rapid found on the Zeiss Super Ikonta folders.

I know this can be done, but I don't know what all is involved. Is this something that an experienced repair tech only should do, or can an amateur repair person pull it off. I have lots of tools, and just enough know-how to be dangerous.

Without any offence:

Putting a flash sync into a shutter requires parts that you do not have and a drawing with measurments where to put those parts.
You will have to take out the shutterblades and aperture blades so you can drill at the right spot, tread the hole and then re-assemble everything at the right place...........

Please talk to a local repair person about it, please............
