I was browsing through some of the old postcard exchange threads and realised that I joined the group 10 years ago at #13 (although I've missed a few exchanges throughout the years). However it was only starting with #12 that the full list of participants was listed in the threads. So I went through every exchange from 12-44 and created a wordle doodle to see who has participated over the past 10 and a half years. The bigger the name, the more times they have been a part of the exchanges.
Love it! It is addictive, I must agree - I joined up in Round 10 and like you have missed a couple; a heartbreaking decision to sit them out every. single. time.
very nice... i, too, am a lapsed participant, (under old id - jimo), as were adopting our grand kids in our seasoned years. i enjoy the exchange somewhat vicariously through the feedback and comments. things are becoming more routine and am looking forward to "re-up" soon!
Do I want a job in Australia? Yes, please! Of course, I don't have any skills that the Australian gov't thinks is useful for the country...
As for the names, people who have only done it once or twice will have the really tiny names that are hard to read. Anyone who's done it more than that has a much more readable name.
I love it!!!! Thank you for creating such a nice piece of art. I joined the Postcard Exchange at Round #12 and have not missed a round. This exchange is addictive, and I find myself looking forward to the next round as soon as my cards are in the mail. They have all been fun, exciting, and interesting. I am always excited to see the work of others, and to share my work. I have used these exchanges to experiment/learn about other processes, i.e toning, cyanotype.

Thanks Darwin! I feel the same about the exchange, I’ve gotten so many inspiring cards that have directly or indirectly led me to purchasing new cameras or trying new techniques over the years. Hard to believe it’s been ten years since I first joined - three countries later I still have all the cards, save the first I participated in (still have no idea where they’re hiding).
