Not my photography, but for $10 at local thrift/estate sale shop I picked up a small file box with about 100 slides in it.

I was about to resist... but these aren't your average slides...

These are almost all award-winners from 1988 to 1994 - the file box is from a member of Rossmoor Camera Club. The box where she put every one of her prize winning slides... I guess the rules don't say when photos have to be taken... Some of the shots go back as far as 1968... She was a world class traveler... Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, Castles, Bangkok... So I don't have many out-takes or seconds, this is a box with pure winners. With the awards, ribbons and certificates. She won six "Top Five" awards that name the shot, four of these are in the file.

I guess I will always wonder what "Cow Parsnip" and "Crowd at Inti Raymi" look like, but man what a find...
