Hi all.
I've ordered an Intrepid Camera 4 x 5 enlarger kit with which I will use with my Schneider 150mm lens on Copal 0 lens board to print my 4 x 5's negatives. BUT I also want to print my 6 x 6 negatives. I would like to adapt my Rodenstock 80mm Apo-Rodagon-N lens to Copal 0 or 1 lens board for my Chamonix camera.

My question is which adapter should I get as the Rodenstock has a M 39× 1/26" thread? Thanks!!!!

I have a Durst enlarger for 35mm and 6 x 6 which is perfect BUT it doesn't have the 'reach' to be able to print onto a 20 x 24" paper and I don't want to project onto the wall and stuff like that.
My workaround to do large prints AND work with 4 x 5 negatives is to put a wall mount with a tripod ball head to put my Chamonix camera on it to use as the 'enlarger' with the Intrepid Camera 4 x 5 enlarger kit as mentioned earlier. As my 'board' I will be using a table with adjustable height! (I am 1.78m in height so the sketch is not to scale haha)

and in case anyone is interested this is the wall mount and the adjustable table I have ordered. I am assuming slight adjustments on the table height combined with the adjustability of the Chamonix will serve me well. I also have a Sinar F2 camera which I could use as an alternative but the Chamonix is lighter.

A much simpler way to make 20” x 24” prints with you 6 x 6 cm enlarger is to remount the enlarger column onto a taller drop-table to increase the projection distance. Here’s is one way to do so.

https://books.google.com/books?id=9tsDAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA186&lpg=PA186&dq=enlarging+table&source=bl&ots=tLka0-OLp0&sig=gIAaCYxuGz_WtM1BoMOww_z-Pc8&hl=en&sa=X&ei=qwpoUfDQDKSHygGH7YDwAw#v=onepage&q=enlarging table&f=false

You can modify the design to suit your requirements.

I assume that you want a borderless 20” x 24” projection from a 55 mm x 55mm negative. The largest 5:6 ratio (same as 20 x 24) rectangle contained by the negative is 45.8 mm x 55 mm. So, the magnification needed is 11X or somewhat greater. Using an 80 mm lens, the required negative-to-image distance is at least 1060 mm. To be safe, I’d choose at least 1200 mm to ensure you have sufficient projection distance.

Hmm. You'll get less vignetting with an LTM to #1 adapter. #0 shutter mount threads are M32.5x0.5, #1 are M39x0.75. What you really want is a board bored M39 and an LTM retaining ring.

In the Intrepid 4x5 Enlarger kit is a lens board with a M39 thread included. This will take your 80mm Rodenstock lens without adapter. It's a Linhof type which should be the same as used for Chamonix. Unfortunately the hole is centered in the board so that it doesn't work on my Linhof Super Technika as it interferes with the bellows. I'm not sure about the Chamonx.

I’d just get another lensboard like Dan indicated.
