Just picked up a c.1946 Miniature Speed Graphic kit. Old & dusty but almost complete. "Too cheap to pass up" as they say. It came with the roll film holder mentioned in the title. I recall that you can use 120 film in that holder somehow... does anyone here have the answer? I'd rather not re-spool 120 film onto 620 spools if I can avoid it. Thanks in advance-
Mark

There are other posts on the Adapt-a-Roll 620 either on Photrio or Large format Photography format (I cannot remember). You just need a 620 spool for the take-up, and of course you have to re-wind the film onto a 120 spool if you send it out for processing..

I wrote the Adapt-A-Roll 620 FAQ posted on graflex.org. Go there and read it.

Short version (I have an Adapt-A-Roll): you can load 120 film, as I recall you don't even have to trim the spool -- but you must take up to a 620 spool.

In a pinch Blue Moon Camera and Machine offers Portra400 and Delta400 in 620 size rolls , I bought some from them a few
years ago and reused their rolls numerous times . Peter

For what people were charging for salvaged 620 spools last time I looked, I should start up to make new ones. If there was enough demand (possibly supplemented by rerolling 120 film) I might be able to afford to quit my job...
