Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I wondered if any of the guys (or gals) here have any experience of developing Rollei RPX films with Aculux3? I don't seem to be able to find any guide times for this kind of film at all....

What development times would you recommend?

Also looking to push 400 to 800 / 1600 if possible.

Any sharing of knowledge would be appreciated. :-D

Maybe you could consider for push processing the special Rollei RPX-D for the RPX 400 film. It seems to be that this developer is made fur push this film up till 1600 iso.

Rollei RPX 400:

ISO 400/27°, Dilution 1 + 11, Temperature 20 ° C, Dev. time 11 Minutes,

ISO 800/30°, Dilution 1 + 7, Temperature 22 ° C, Dev. time 13 Minutes,

ISO 1600/33°, Dilution 1 + 5, Temperature 24 ° C, Dev. time 14 Minutes

No one has any information or findings whatsoever?

ARGH, I'll cut up a film and try a few different times to see what I come up with and post back...

Well...

For anyone that's interested, I've developed two rolls of rpx 400 now; 9 mins seems the right amount of time in a 1:9 aculux mix.

I agitated once every 2 minutes, for no more than ten seconds.

If anything, the negs appear a little over developed, but I've yet to transfer my negs to paper.

Digging up an old thread ... has Craig or anyone else tried RPX 400 pushed to 800 in Aculux 3? Or would I be safer sticking to Rollei's own chemistry?

Thanks!
