Where is the cheapest place to buy acros in quickload in the UK? I'm having a hard time tracking any down - Robert White sells it, but their prices are always high.

I guess buying from the US is an option.

The price is high everywhere I have seen it. There does not seem to be much, if any, discounting on this film in the UK and at essentially the same price as colour Quickloads, I'll stick to Kodak when I need to travel light...

When I looked at it before, by the time you have paid postage, duty and VAT on top of the lot, the savings from buying from the US were small. Maybe the exchange-rate has made it a better proposition now.

Cheers, Bob.

Teamwork are a tad cheaper then Robert White with Acros Quickloads, £47/20 + VAT.
Still ludicrous compared to TMX Readyloads at well under half the price (£21.60+VAT at Silverprint)

Plus they don't even sell it in normal sheets in the UK so if you want it you have to import it. No thanks. This all means that there is no way I am going to use Acros in 120/135 either...

Like Dave, I'll stick with Ilford. Pity the Polaroid attempt fell through - that was my great hope for Ilfoloads (Harmaloads? - perhaps not: sounds a bit too much like an ointment for unfortunate posterior problems).

Bob.

That settles it, my quickload holder is going on ebay!

£2.75 a sheet is madness and will hurt my creativity since any 'risks' are going to hurt financially very quickly. I was in two minds about whether to just stick with 120 anyway but I may go with readyloads and tmax.

Anyone want to trade a brand new quickload holder for readyload?
