If this is for real, then there is hope. It looks like Fuji is doing what Kodak has had to do and rightsize their manufacturing capabilities. You can't keep making it if you're trying to redo the line. Hopefully it'll be the same, or close enough to it.

How difficult would it have been for them to have announced this when they were discontinuing Acros? I'm glad it's coming back, but it'll be a long time before I buy any, as I have over 300 rolls of the old Acros I stocked up on when I thought that was it.

I'll wait to see how it compares to the original, but this should be viewed as good news. From the English translation:

"In the fall of 2019, we plan to release two types of 35mm size and brownie size."

It sounds like 35mm and 120 but not 4x5. That's a shame but probably understandable for today's market.
