I tried out some acros 100 the other day. In the prints the grain size is about the same as the efke25, but the efke looked a little bit smoother. This is with 1+100 rodinal with semi stand development. Would acros be similar to tmax and delta100 in this respect?

Hi,
Across in 35 MM is one of my favorite films. My testing shows it to be appreciably finer grained than Delta 100 but not nearly as fine as T Max 100.
What makes it so good is that its tonality is ( in my opinion) much nicer than T Max for most scenes.

I print 16X20 landscapes frequently, and while still using T Max 100 and sometimes Tech Pan, because of their amazing resolution and almost invisible grain, find that my batting average for overall print satisfaction for most scenes is best with Across.

Cheers,

Jay L.
