Acetic acid instead of sodium citrate

If I require 1.0g/L of sodium citrate for a formula, how much 28% acetic acid can I substitute? If acetic acid won't do, what would be a suitable substitute?

The sodium citrate is to be added to a home made hypo clearing formula, along with Disodium EDTA, as the water is very hard where my darkroom is located.

Don't add any acetic acid it's not needed, the Citrate is there to aid solubility of the silver thiousulphate by-products.
