So there it is.....realized 7 frames into the roll of 120 and thought I'd better stay rated as EI 100 and pull the film in developing.
It's a pro job so need to scan the film so any advice on developing times for T-Max developer very welcome. As long as I have detail I'll be happy regardless of contrast.....shot on a very flat day anyway so that doesnt help!!!

N+2 I believe. Add 20% time. Don't change dilution or agitation or anything. Keep it simple. Maybe through in an extra 5% for good measure as it is a flat subject.

Crap, misread. Yeah, pull it. But N-2 can be tricky. Might be someone with a better idea as I can't speak from much experience pull processing as I have seldom had the need.

It would probably be fine if you developed it normally. The only thing to worry about is blocking up your highlights which will be 2-stops higher up the curve but with Tmax, that's really not something to worry about on a 2-stop overexposure for most scenes.

Is a lab processing it or just scanning it? For scanning, dense negatives can work well so you have a choice, try to develop it properly for a 2-stop pull or develop it normally which will give you dense highlights. Most negative film can handle 2 stop, even 6 stops of overexposure so it is much better to do this than to shoot T-Max 100 at 400 which is at the limit of useful underexposure. If a lab is developing it then ask for a 2-stop pull if you want it normal density or regular for dense negs. If you're doing the development yourself and want normal density with a 2-stop pull the big dev chart has a few suggestions for T-Max 400 at 100:

Notables (also D-23, FX-19 and T-Max RS have 100 listed):
Rodinal 1+50 3:45
Ilfosol 3 1+9 8:30
Xtol stock 5:45 1+1 8:00 1+3 13:30

thanks for the reply but there's no info for T-Max 400 at EI 100 in T-Max developer

nothing i took had strong highlights all very flat so shall i develop as normal??????

Given that I'd definitely stay normal.

just developed the negs at 20 degrees in T-Max developer at 1:4 giving it 6 mins 45 secs approx......the negs look fine to me!!!! there's detail visibile which I'm sure a 16-bit scan on my Scanmate 5000 drum scanner will sort out for me for use in the law firm's brochure they're for......job done......thanks for your help people.....chapeau APUG as always.....

I said "T-Max RS" whatever that is:
TMax 400 TMax RS stock 100 5.5 24C

Just quoting "the chart", I've never used that developer.

Glad it turned out! If in doubt, overexpose with film I say. Not so with d*****l of course.
