Today I was helping my advisor with a few persons more, to put a table in the old department photo lab, since the lab is going to be dismantle and the rooms are for students do their research in the paleoanthropology field.
In one cabinet, we found several phoographic paper, all the sizes (even A1 or more, like the paper use in Blow Up movie).
Since I was the only "photo geek" present, I have the role to find what to do with those paper.
My idea was to sell, to get money for the department, So my question, how much may be worth a photo paper? We got since its ilford, agfa, kodak, etc. I will do the inventory an can present the names and type. I just want to know how much may a paper be worth this days.
Of corse that, it's old paper, many boxes are to open and possible our of date, but since I do not print in paper, I just a layman in the matter!

PS: Here is the paper that the old lab has:

4 boxes (one unopen) of Ilford Ilfobrom 2.24 K Semi-Matt 17,8x24 cm

One box of Ilford Ilfobrom 3.24 K Semi-Matt 17,8x24 cm

2 Agfa Record Rapid RRN 111 Glossy, grade normal 24x30,5 cm (50 pages)

Tura high speed 11 PE 20,3x25,4 cm

Tura Repor-rapid RR113 Normal 17,824 cm

2 boxes of Agfa record rapid RRN 111 glossy Grade Normal 8,9x14cm

one Ilford Multigrade IV RC Deluxe IV Glossy 20,3x25,4 cm

one Ilford Ilfobrom IB velvet stipple 1,26 k (I think) double weight 17,8x24 cm

one Kodak Bromesko paper wsg 1k glossy 18x24 cm

one Ilford Multigrade IV FB Fiber 1k Glossy 17x24 cm (just a few pages, the box has low weight).

one Agfa Brovira BW 112 Baryt 3 (?) 17,8x24 cm

one Tura Rapid Report RR 113 with matt (unopen)

One Tura Report Rapid 1 W (with some writting saying fine support, smoth white glossy)

One Agfa Brovira BN 112 Baryt 3 Normal withe matt double weight 50,8x61 cm

3 Orwo Fotopapeir universal BH 113 50,8x61 cm

Almost all the boxes are 100 pages but since may are open, the quantity of the paper may be not that number.

The lab also has three 15 litres Kodak D-76 boxes and four 15 litres kodak Microdol, all unopen, is it worth something?

Try it, i found a box of exp 1965 kodak Matte, works like a dream. Also some 78' Agfa Brovira, works, and works fast.
You're not gonna get much because there is no guarantee it will work. How ever, I might be interested in some of them.

You could put it on E-Bay for $1 a box for 7 days and see what happens. It'll be at least $22 bucks if it all sells, and possibly more if there are competing bids.

The reason why I think E-Bay starting at $1 (or 1 Euro in your case) might be a good idea is that you have no idea what the value of the stuff is. It is hard for anyone to say outright, as there is so much variation in prices with old paper, and there is always the risk that it won't work.

The people most interested in it will probably be lith printers. I always take old paper when it is offered just to see if I can get anything interesting out of it with a lith print.

How old is the paper and how was it stored?

How old, I can not tell since I do not know photo papers (only develop and scann the negs) and didn't see any exp. date on it. Possibly mid 90s or latter. All the paper was in one wood cabinet. I understand what you mean, my idea was more sell for what is worth or for 5 or 10€ a box, if the valor of the paper was for this prices.

PM me if in USA. I am interested.

If in Europe your best bet is to list it in the auction website.
