I saw this on the auction site. A 35mm folding camera w/ a rangefinder that sure looks like a Welta, but has a Kodak lens on it. I know Welta bought lenses from different people, but is this a real Welta, or simply one that has a Kodak lens installed by someone? I've never seen a Welta w/ this sort of rangefinder except for the 120 roll film cameras.

It's most likely a Kodak Retina lens transplanted onto the Welta...

This guy has been trying to sell this for at least four years... Nothing wrong with a Frankenfolder but it doesn't even fold anymore, and you lose the protection for the lens, AND Retinas are frequently cheaper than this. There's a guy in Taiwan who similarly has been trying to sell, over and over, a lovely rare lens --Cooke Roytal 105, probably from a Kershaw Peregrine -- grafted onto a box camera. If it wasn't north of 500.00 I'd be all over it.
