Hi,

I hang out a lot on APUG but I don't tell them that I really follow a hybrid workflow. Maybe I should be here instead.

Now the time has come to buy a real screen. I found one on the classified section on a local photo site, a Lacie 320. It is supposed to be good, as far as the internet reviews go, and the price is right. But how do such screens age? This one is from 2007. How do I check if it has aged well?

I'd be grateful for any input. Probably need to act fast to get the screen

I wouldn't waste my time or money on a 4 yr. old CRT, Lacie or no. Take a look at NEC Spectraview LCD monitors.

Hmm, even the cheapest Spectraview is almost 1000 Euro. Do you know if the NEC MultiSync - P221W compares at all?

The P221W-BK is a wide gamut (96% Adobe RGB) monitor and isn't to outrageously expensive.
