A tip for sourcing semi-silvered mirrors..

I recently acquired an accessory rangefinder (made in France-"CIP" brand,with a defunct s/s mirror.
Not long after I was stripping down a dead computer,and in the CD drive laser I found a small s/s mirror which provided a direct replacement.
