Just received Paul Wainwright's book on New England Colonial MeetingHouses, see A Space for Faith Its a beautiful book with great photographs as well as informative essay on the subject. Paul uses traditional photographic methods and equipment ( a 4X5 camera) to produce more than just a documentary. Highly recommended.

View Camera magazine

The latest issue of View Camera (July/Aug 2010) has a review of Paul's images as well as how he made one of the more difficult shots.

Wish I would get my issue already. They're awfully slow getting out. Most issues overlap.

However, I have always loved the subject of one room meetinghouses. Lots here in rural Delaware. I'll have to check the book out. Thanks.
