Back when i only shot 35mm I printed as large as 16"x20." In the last 20 yrs I've worked primarily in medium format and some 4x5" and 5x7" LF. Now i normally print 35mm only as large as 11"x14"....if it's a great image and a fine negative.
From 35mm ?Gosh! Surprised to hear so few (any!) print bigger. If I can't make at least an 11 X 14 I did something wrong. I do use slower fine grain film and fine grain developers.

While technical properties of a given film, darkroom space, and often our budget dictate the size of the print we produce, it's also obvious that those who shoot various film formats tend to print a higher percentage from large film formats. Am I right?
