A picture a day

I found this river rock with fossilized shellfish inside on the weekend.

Found the site (Parc de Sceaux) of this Koudelka photograph. Unfortunately, I lack the dog, snow and talent to reproduce it. Still, pretty cool to have stood in a master's spot

And if you get to visit it this week, you can see beautiful cherry blossoms too!

Herzogenrath, Germany, today, Palm PVG100:

An Easter walk that made me think of Goethe's Faust when I saw this landscape:
From the ice they are freed, the stream and brook,
By the Spring’s enlivening, lovely look;
The valley’s green with hope’s glad sheen;
And Winter, old and weak, to his cave must lean.

Seen today. The creeping buttercup that covers all the swampy forest floor has finally decided to bloom.

Beautiful!

Some colors in the night! A silhouette on the biggest blue window would have made my night (but probably made the neighbor call the cops on me, so it's ok)

Careful looking at windows, you might witness a murder ... or what you think is a murder....

Those are certainly lowlands! I like the reflectivity of the water. The film, processing, and scan looks good.

Seen on the lunch break walk today.

Channeling your inner Andreas Gursky?

Hehe, yeah, I was with @gary mulder when I shot that one and we talked about the Gursky photo a bit. To make it a proper 'Rhein II', I would have had to drive one river to the north, and I would have had to shoot at least a full roll of the same river and then digitally join them all into one photo. I'm too lazy for both!

After walking through buttercups for an hour.
