A picture a day

One of my favorite places to sit by the Seine is finally open after a week or so of being underwater. The water is still very high.

That's quite nice!

Awesome! It looks like a gorgeous place.

To stay with the nautical theme:

One of the many wind casualties I've seen walking around lately.

Two from yesterday:

The sort of things one might find when you drop your car in for a couple of hours of work, and decide to walk down to the waterway

And today, at the Ferroblend demonstration that @Andrew O'Neill gave us at our Darkroom Group meeting - thanks again Andy!

Looking forward to grey skies and the chill of winter - we seem to be having an endless summer down under.

two for the week; snow has finally receided, both shots from the same week
one half-frame and one medium format with 35mm film.

Looks like such a peaceful place!

Interesting.
Because while the foreground is very peaceful, in the background is one arm of one of the busiest river waterways on the west coast of North America .
The little white blips are actually really big ferries - that is the major service location for our Province's very large coastal ferry fleet.

All set for a traditional Saint Patrick's Day dinner of bacon and cabbage.

Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit.

Ah, delicious.
