A picture a day

Cat pictures are fine folks.
But knowing how cat lovers like to go on .....
 
Bellows replacement successful! Not a perfect job (note double fold on front edge), but it's light-tight! The biggest hurdle with using this camera is now behind me.

thanks, it also meant that some reckless youths were doing something dangerous. The ice on the Charles river is never thick enough to support human.

(why do they only have the robotic arm available here?)

There's this ground floor apartment in my town in which someone (I assume an old lady) decorates 5 or 6 planters with the most random of arrangements. Sometimes, they're related to the holidays, sometimes not. Last year, the decorations disappeared for a few months. I feared the worst; but they're back and as random as ever. This is just one half of one planter:

Stopped because of the beautiful blue umbrella, took the picture because of the words behind (the equivalent of "go, blue!")
