A picture a day

@loccdor isn't it lovely when the sky hands you a present?

Yes, it felt like it came from a painting of one of the old masters. You've got a fantastic teal and brown pattern in that shot, definitely a favorite. Leeks, I think, which is an underappreciated food.

Can we request a self-portrait in action at the skate park?

Just walking around that skate park for the purpose of achieving the right angle of view was risky enough!

Thanks; much appreciated. Yes, I'm partial to the teal/brown combination as well. My wife gifted me a copy of the Dictionary of Color Combinations today; I'll be sure to check if it's in there!
And indeed, you're right, they're leeks. Underappreciated perhaps, but very widely consumed around here. They're plentiful and cheap almost year-round. Something we take advantage of quite a lot. It so happens that the leeks grown in this particular field are for the supermarket chain that I do virtually all of our grocery shopping at. So there's a good chance that some of these end up on my own plate!

Pic for tomorrow. Developed 3 E-6 films today as the 10-12th rolls of a liter kit. Used 44C instead of 41C and adjusted time and it seems to have gone well. Some Greek summer as well as New York autumn. May even try 15 rolls with this kit though I usually don't.

@Anon Ymous Thanks!

@MattKing Kind of, I was coordinating with a mint-green shirt. But dark brown pants are also a classic autumn choice.
