You would not believe what I have packed into my basement. I will put up some pictures as the benches and sinks go in to the purpose built darkroom. Yes there is heating by the way.

Middle of December will be when I can print. Have guests staying last week in November so I lose a week of construction.

Thanks Andy,

So, if we decided to do signup now (November) with it all winding up by the end of January, you could be involved?

While I don't want to see delays like we have had for this exchange moving forward, I think if we do an exchange over the Christmas period, its probably best to be a bit more flexible. Personally, I am not sure how much printing I would get done in December, but I know I should be alright in mid January (I am on leave with my kids while my wife is working).

Well,
Most of the delay was on my account and not knowing how things will be with my dad, I'm not sure if I should sign up for next round. So I'll try to make prints in November (about 12 should do?) or otherwise not sign up for the next round. Both ways I won't be holding up things again.

Btw: my father was transfered to a specialized hospital today, since our local hospital ran out of options. His hart is down to 10 % capacity. We hope the specialized hospital can perform an open hart surgery and implant a special hart pump to take over from his own hart. They're the only hospital that can do this. But first a lot of tests again.
And tomorrow my father turns 75 years old!!! At least he made it this far. Next goal: Chritsmas with the whole family.

An early Santa parcel arrived on the Gold Coast yesterday - all in good order! Thank you.

As far as the next round is concerned... Participation closing end November with prints to you by end January is good by me. As I am not THAT time constrained so an earlier submission is also OK. Maybe we can aim for a new round every month with prints due at month end 2 months later? At least we can work to a fixed schedule? Thus, the rounds continue no matter the level of individual participation for each round. Those of us who can meet the regular deadlines will at least be practising our craft while others, for whatever reason, are unable to participate in a timely manner are not tied to a particular round.

That said, count me in for the next round... Comment to follow...

Lastly, Hoffy... Thanks again for your effort to make the print exchange work for us... Take care, Fred

Today I received a parcel from Australia. Must be the photos from this PX. I didn't have the time to open it and view the images, but I'll be back home tomorrow so I'm looking forward to see all your work then.
One of the fine and restfull moments in a hectic period.

After work I'll be going to the hospital again to see my father (100 miles away). He's doing well for now and if he can loose some more water then they can start operating on his hart. He was gaining too much weight for holding water (over 9 kilograms) due to his bad hart function. So there is still hope. This is his 9th week in hospital.
Last Saturday we celebrated his 75th birthday on now onward to Christmas - hopefully with a nice family dinner at home.

I'm happy to enter the next one when it happens - end of the year for sign up, and January for printing would be ideal....

Some great pics in this exchange - I'm actually framing one for the wall...might just email the person and return it to them and ask them to sign it for me

Bert - I hope your father keeps getting better..

Cheers

I received mine in very good order. Thank all you for for the nice prints.
My father isn't doing well at all. Last Friday the doctor said he may have 2 months at most left.
So I won't make any commitments for the next round right now, but hope to be able to join again in the future.
Thanks,
Bert from Holland

Family comes first Bert, so everyone understands.

As for the Next round, I'll create a thread later today. Is two weeks signup OK?

Cheers
