Not as great a photograph but still nice -my opinion

A lot of beautiful photographs. The real deal.

I think he'd appeal to a large audience, too. He may look pictorialist/romantic but he's just as much abstractionist/minimalist, if you ask me

I couldn't even find his name in a search here
Maybe a few new fans?

If you are interested in knowing more about Shinzo Fukuhara, there is a very informative gallery about him with his photos, as well and his colleagues of the Japan Photographic Society (Nihon Shashin Kai). This includes Akira Ibuka, Yasuo Hirai, Tadashi Murabayashi, Kanichiro Shimada, and photographers from the Shiseido Photo Department (Shiseido Shashin-bu), the cosmetic giant that Fukuhara founded. These are all photos that have not been seen before as they were done before WW II. Most of the photographers from this group all lost their work up to that point due to the bombing of Tokyo.
